My cousin is a police officer and recently got caught on film saying something that was clearly not okay to say/do to someone. Like, the evidence is very clear that he was not doing the right thing. He is at risk of losing his job.

My extended family is saying that there are "two sides to every story," and are asking me to support him publicly (on social media and such) and drive people to his side. I haven't heard much of an excuse besides "he was having a bad day," but that's not enough for me.

I have nothing against cops at all, and think my cousin is a generally good guy, but I don't really want to support him. Am I obligated, because he's family?

So, this one girl (18y), that I(20y) have been kissing and rubbing with each other (while she had a boyfriend). She has told me, that I’m the perfect guy for her, and that we can be something in the future maybe, but that she loves her boyfriend. Been dating this girl for about 4 weeks now and it going pretty well, I was shocked to find out that we're both virgins. My concern is, I've actually had three sexual experiences in my life but couldn't get it up for any of them, so I'm pretty sure its due to performance anxiety. Hey advice I'm in a strange situation with girl I'm seeing. Nothing sexual. But yesterday I went to see her at work and we were talking about a lot of things. So, I've asked if she was looking for a relationship. She replied not right now, but if I get to know you more maybe. After that I stood around and talked to her more. Should i quit college(again)?

Alright, some context: i'm 21, doing graphic design, third year out of four and it's a paid college. I live in Brazil, and my course is 100% financed. There are public colleges that are free and considered better by most, but obviously it's harder to join. I only did the entrance exam twice(and failed) for the second most contested courses for each respective year. I did join a federal engineering course, but i gave up because i lived in another city and got pretty depressed because of that and the dificult of the course and family problems yada yada. I really regret giving up engineering, but naive as i was at the time, i though "money ain't everything, i should follow my dreams and oh boy i really liked drawing when i was a kid so graphic design lol". Since i was doing nothing at time, my parents said i should do something, even if it meant studying at a private college.

So here i am, wanting to give up this graphic design course because it's nothing i though it was. And i'll to pay for it afterwards, but 2 years of studeny loan can be saved if i give up and try doing something else. So what do you think? Should i pussy out or pussy out on pussying out?

Hey /adv/

I met a girl on r9k about a month ago and we added each other on steam to play some games. I really enjoyed spending time with her and she had an amazing accent and I sort of developed a crush for her. I was afraid of getting a crush on her because she had a boyfriend and she lived overseas. I was also a student and I had just come out of a difficult time in my life so I didn't want to get involved in something so messy. So I confronted her and told her that I had a crush on her and that I think it'd be best if we stopped talking. She protested a little and said I should wait a bit and see if my crush fades but I think fear got the best of me and I said no.

It's been a month since then and I think I'm largely over my crush of her. But I do miss having her as friend. I really enjoyed playing games with her and I think if we were to talk again, I wouldn't let feelings develop.

But I'm a bit nervous if I should contact her.
