I was on medical leave from college for a year because of a deep depression/anxiety.
I'm starting to get back into dating and have been talking to girls a bunch. Problem is I don't know how to explain my medical leave. I want to make some bullshit reason as to why I took a year off but can't think of anything that could be serious enough to be on medical leave for a year.
If things get serious between me and someone else I will tell them it was for depression when I'm comfortable, but telling women right off the bat that I had a bad depression would steer 99.9% of them away. I've been going to therapy the last year and I've really got my depression under control, so they really wouldn't notice it.

Say that you took medical leave because a family emergency, like having to take care of a sick family member. Or, find some illness online to lie about that can go away with treatment so you can just say you had then and now its all better.

I live in Las Vegas, and on my way home from work tonight, I drove into a gas station to fill up, but a crash down the street knocked out power to the entire intersection, including the light and the gas station. I was tired from a long shift and didn't even think about it, so I just left out of the next entrance to get on my way. What do you know, there was a motorcycle cop hiding beside the building waiting for people to jump the light, and he got me. I told him the scenario but of course it looks bad, I'm sure others had done the same that night, so he still cited me and sent me on my way.
I've never so much as been pulled over before in my 7 years of driving, so this is my first ticket. Will this put points on my license? How serious of an offense is it? Any idea what the cost might be, and should I fight it? I don't really want to pay a bunch of money just because I didn't realize the power was out at the station before pulling in.
Thank you in advance. For reference, the citation type is: 484B.307.7 0515 NOC 53761 It also has a code that says "10.02.010" which I looked up and it's talking about misdemeanors. Am I getting a misdemeanor for this? I would've been fucking cuffed if that were the case, wouldn't I?

I want to confess this because I haven't done anywhere else. A number of years ago when I was in my teens I was jerking off outside somewhat hidden.
Someone happened to walk past, looked at me and I back at them, for whatever reason I didn't stop. I'm not in trouble for it or anything but I can't forget it and I don't know why I was doing it. Every time I jerk off it comes into my head after and it just depresses me. The issue has been sorted, apologies were given and it was all dealt with. At this point it's caused me to drink excessively from time to time and has made me consider the possibility I'm a sociopath or something like that.
It was something stupid I did and I want to forget. How can I do this? And am I insane?
