that being said.
you should start working on improving yourself.
first you need to set a baseline for yourself.
The Total Average in other words.
Then push yourself harder to find The Extreme or the Maximum of your abilities .
after all of that comes the boring part which is slowly improving them.
Slowly add to your maximum and keep record of it.
after a while you'll achieve a better version of yourself but don't stop there .
Don't know how to start this so I'll just say it as it is.
Some years ago I used to see a girl. We weren't a couple but I liked her, pretty sure she liked me and we went out quite a bit. Anyway we was young and shit, we get distanced and pretty much cut all connections. In short, as far as I was concerned, she was dead or may as well have not existed.
Then I got older, finished highschool, grew up a lot mentally, got a job, got slim (I'm tall but chubby) and I got a gf that I used to love. Things fell apart after a few years and last year in September we finally broke up. Needless to say my soul was crushed because long story short, she felt in love with her therapist. Yeah, there were issues there, we tried to resolve them but nothing worked.
So what do you know, the the EXACT day I broke up with my ex, that exact moment I told her the final goodbye and parted ways, who do I meet completely and utterly random on the street? The girl from so long ago. That was somewhat shocking to see her again, she changed a lot but was the usual jolly self. She recognized me and came to me on the street, we hugged, exchanged numbers and talked for a minute. She wanted us to meet (she actually contacted me, I haven't even saved her number, I was fairly depressed) but we never settled for anything because I haven't responded to anything.
A year has passed since and holy shit, today, barely a couple hours earlier, I randomly meet her again on the street (we don't even live in the same city). We hugged, talked a bit more, exchanged numbers (I saved her number this time) and out of the blue she asks me to go with her at a festival we both wanted to see. Just the 2 of us.
How crazy is that /adv/? She actually likes me? What a coincidence it must be to meet like this? And should I go with her at the festival?
Do I have a chance at happiness with my childhood crush in this life? Do I take this opportunity?

I went to a crowded restaurant last night to pick up a to-go order.
There was a table full of college girls.
Two of them kept checking me out as I waited.
My question is,
In a crowded restaurant, is it acceptable to walk up to a full table in the middle of an open floor-space (not a place to mingle) and introduce yourself to strangers--if it's girls who may or may not be checking you out?
It wasn't a bar, it was a restaurant people go to before they go to the bar, so buying them drinks would be out of the question.

That was my feeling as well.
The place was loud, I would have needed to yell for them to hear me, and I'd have to introduce myself to the entire table (6-8 of them) when I was just going for 1 or 2. The only way I could see it working, was if I casually walked up and asked if they were going to a party or something after, and maybe we could meet up. However, then I'd still have the chance of them either rejecting me, or not showing up.
It was a bad scenario.

So, here's a chain of events that really sucked some impressive amounts of dick. Any suggestions for what to do next would be great.

>All savings go into surgeries to fix injury
>Struggling to get by in most expensive place in the U.S, decide i'm never going to start my life if I stay there
>Move to Montana with no plan and like 1500 dollars I saved up.
>Get apartment, life is alright for a little bit. Technically living in poverty but I don't have many bills and rent is only 350 dollars a month, internet another 50, total expenses for each month are around 400 and I make around 1300 a month.

i was talking to one of my friends recently and she said she wanted to go speed dating. but you already have a bf of 2 years, i said. i know but it will be fun :) im not looking for anything, she said
this made me think about some other girls i know, for example i go to a lot of meetups and theres some regulars. a couple of different (as in they dont know each other particularly) girls regularly flirt with a lot of the guys there, despite one having a bf and the other being very avoidant when it comes down to it. i met 3 girls on holiday recently, and they were the same, very flirty (one of them even gave me some rubbers lol) but then 'oh we all have bfs'. i go to salsa as well, lots of girls there by themselves, 'oh i have a bf sorry'. and then you get into things like online dating, where many girls just sign up just to say how much interest they get
what is with this weird behaviour? specifically, leading people along just for their own amusement/pleasure/whatever with no regard for the feelings of the guy. im noticing it more and more now its been pointed out to me, and it seems to be pretty common. whats the deal?

I will receive a fairly large sum of money soon (100-200k), money that I won't need in the immediate future.
Rather than invest this is in low-risk, low-reward stuff myself or putting it with the bank, I have a friend who is doing really well with cryptocurrencies and the likes. He's made 100k out of nothing in just six months, so he knows what he's doing, and he's willing to manage my money in exchange for a portion of the profits.
I know it's risky no matter what, since it's a volatile and unregulated business. I am 100% confident in my friend's knowledge, skills and integrity though (not to forget: contacts on the inside). This feels like my chance to make it really big. Losing everything would be kind of a bugger, to put it bluntly, but not that bad. I wouldn't be completely broke or anything.
What do you think? Things to consider before jumping in?

I should have mentioned that over the last few years most of my assets have been invested traditionally by a private bank. Those assets are part of a family company that I can't access at will, though, but I consider those part of my 'buffer' in case of a general crypto implosion.
I'll keep some of the cash on the side or in an investment, though, just to make sure.
