I really need some guidance right now.
My girlfriend of 5 months just got pregnant. She is passionately against abortion. She's not religious of anything, but the morality does bother her. I think mostly she's scared of the health consequences, and the (small) chance that it could affect her future fertility. She's a full on anti-fluoride kind of person, so this is a huge deal for her.
I know it's a big thing to ask of her, and I don't want to force her, but we will both have to sacrifice our careers and dreams to focus on this child for the next 20 years. And as much as I care for her, I don't think that 5 months is enough time to decide whether you want to have a kid with someone and spend practically the rest of your life with them.
At the same time, I understand it would be an incredibly difficult move for anyone. I don't want to force anything on her - that could be very traumatic and leave us both in deep regret/resentment for the rest of our lives. I guess my hope is that she could come to see my viewpoint, and willingly go for the abortion. Even then, I would feel very guilty about the whole situation, but I feel like this ultimately the best thing for both of us, and the only logical solution.
I have tried to imagine life with her and the child, and it's not the worst thing in the world. But cutting off all our potential, all for such a brief relationship, seems wrong to me.
What do you think? What else can I do here?

So I've been working as an electrician for 5 years now and my Dad who is a contractor and has been doing trade for 39 years is deciding to help me become a contractor just like him.
The problem is that the people who he has as employees and apprentices are white trash. These people will soon be working for me, and even if they aren't the same people trade jobs are full of white trash. I don't mean to belittle them, I'm simply saying that they are all from poor backgrounds while I am from a middle class upbringing.
How can I deal with them without upsetting them? They drink, smoke, and have little to come home to. Plenty of times I have to tell them to lay off the beer or cigarettes since we're working on a job right now and we shouldn't be doing that stuff on people's property. But they insist on continuing to do so and I have to argue with them. In the end we are still friends, but these guys find arguing and fighting as normal things.
They are very good at their jobs. It's just that they need a lot of close eye and I don't want to offend them considering I don't know what their lives are like.

One of my friends is an overweight neckbeard who used to be that edgy kid in school who was nihilistic, thought that being cynical and jaded was cool, listened to screamo and death metal and was so atheist that he was basically anti-religious. He is still pretty edgy and displays most of the same traits to a slightly lesser degree. Despite these things, he is my friend and I want to help him. Sometimes he asks me for dating advice, but I have trouble finding the right words to pass on my advice.
One of the things holding him back, in my opinion, is the fact that he doesn't take care of his image. He likes to blame his romantic failures on the fact that ALL women are just self-absorbed, shallow bitches, often saying things like "when a handsome guy plays video games it's cute and nerdy, but when I do it's gross and cringy." While I know /adv/ shares these opinions on women, I need help with finding the words to let him see that having the personality of a nihilistic cynical asshole with the looks of a fat neckbeard who only owns T-shirts with metal bands on them is the reason why nobody considers him a sexual or romantic contender. He doesn't understand that to catch a woman's interest is something most people have to work for, and it isn't just life being unfair to him. My hope is that he'll stop complaining about women being attracted to the men who actually try, and instead become a man who actually tries. How do I tell this to him?

Sometimes I believe my best friend uses me to fill a hole he feels in his relationship by kissing and getting sexual with me. But at times he just wants to hang with me without doing those things and has gone out of his way to do me favors like buy food for my cat, teach me the do and donts of driving, and even offering to company me to my doctors appointment since I hate going alone. HI anons, taking some antibiotics called doxycycline and I feel like it's making my stomach kinda feel uncomfortable/discomfort?
Is this normal? Should I take probiotics or something to offset the killing of good bacteria in my digestive tract? If so, when should I be taking the probiotics?
I take my antibiotics at 8 am and 8pm. the one in the morning is just with like 2 glasses of water but 8pm is with food.
