Any anons know anything about this kind of stuff? I was in a pretty bad car accident in October. His insurance company called mine saying that he claimed responsibility but we never heard anything back. I went to a lawyer that deals with stuff a couple months ago but haven't heard anything back yet.
I'm not saying I expect a huge payout or anything but any sort of money would help me out a lot right now.

>degloved my right foot and broke some toes
>Blew out both of my knees which needed a lot of surgery
I'm just mostly curious at this point. Pic related is pretty much what my truck looked like except I was upside down

Yeah that's pretty much what I'm gonna do I guess, the lawyer I went to seemed cool enough, pretty well respected firm in my area. Only downside in these types of things is that they get a third of whatever payout you get, which is pretty dumb

Talk first with your insurance company. They're supposed to handle all the legal stuff for you, so you shouldn't have to hire a separate lawyer

I ask a girl to join me and a few friends to have drinks the other night. She didn't answer until the day after. Said she was super busy (work, deadline for a college paper, father visiting) but that she was going out with friends on wednesday as well and that I should come. I said sure, just hit me up again wednesday to confirm and remind me, and that I should be free. It's 3 PM here and still no news should I ask her if it's still on in a few hours or is it clingy ?

UK anon who has a bitch ex-wife who is coming after me through divorce court. There is a government department that deals with fraudulent/unscrupulous claims. Basically I need to know how to appeal to them to guarantee that she loses her legal aid. If any Brit anons are reading this, remember this bitch is using your tax money so you have a personal interest in getting her claim thrown out.
What I have on my side is that she has
1. Been sanctioned for benefit fraud at some point in the last year or so
2. Recently taken holidays out of the country (to China) with our child (I have proof of this)
3. Our child is full time at school and therefore she is able to work but is not.
4. She alleged domestic violence against me a few years back and got legal aid then to fight for custody of my child but didn't start financial proceedings until a few weeks back. She has only just applied for legal aid (her solicitor emailed me). I was told I could claim that I have been of good character since the incident when she claimed DV (charges were dropped and I was let go by police).
What other factors could I bring up?

What's the deal-e-o with games and refunds? Does the same policy apply as with tangible things? E.g. selling a game as something it isn't (no mans sky)? What about pre-purchases witch promise certain features that aren't delivered on?
It seems to me that devs get a way with a lot of bullshit when it comes to games and resalers are usually willing to facilitate the bullshit.

Stoner here. I take a 3 month long break every year. Go running. Seriously pick up running/jogging and keep amping up the intensity. Youll be surprised how much this helps you hack it all up.

This. Hard cardio forces the lungs and airways to create mucus - the mucus is there to deal with the increased air intake and trap/filter out all the dust and pollen and crap that comes with it. All of that debris gets stuck in the mucus, which you then expel from your lungs by coughing it out.
Extra mucus will help dislodge all that tar bullshit. Keep in mind youll never get it all - you permantly damaged your lungs. But youll probably get most of it, meaning you should be able to get the majority of your "natural" lung fuction back. So yeah, cardio. Be ready to cough so much shit up that you want to puke lol.

Your body regulates it's oxygen intake whether you're consciously breathing or not.
Normal number of breaths is 12-20 a minute. Anything outside that range is strenuous, involuntary, and you'd be able to tell you're in peril.
So basically if you're not cyanotic, you're fine.
Breathe with your chest and shoulders, but your stomach, if you don't already.

Looking for advice on talking to that friend (25) who has entered a relationship who is slightly older (28?)
He has always been known as good looking but lacked interpersonal skill. This is basically his first real relationship ever, only losing his virginity a few months beforehand.
She is a recent divorcee (they had to wait til after they were legally split to get together) out of an abusive relationship.
Originially was happy because he was happy, however, he has become more and more absent in general. In fact there was a scenario where his phone was called by a mutual friend and she picked up, saying that he had "lost phone privileges." He's just a regular ass guy who works a lot and when he's not, he watches anime. Anything he had done to upset the female had to be minor.
they've been together for several months, and she just removes every ounce of personality, fun, and manhood he seems to have.
I think it's obvious how I feel about the relationship, I just wonder how I can approach a 25-26 year old who might as well be in their first real relationship ever.
