Hey! Im in high school and looking for a university to get a degree in computer Science and game design. Im thinking of attending Digipen In Washington and become a game designer. Any other universities for game design you recommend?
I dont like partys, unless
>i know enough people
>good loud music
>too many normies
otherwise i know im pretty introverted but i consistently gauge people too see if they actually care about whats in front of them or whose talking. I prefer conversations to loud music and what people have to say. AM i Crazy?
I dont see the appeal of Going to every party or being at every social event because everyone is going. I'd rather chill with people and smoke.
on a scale of 1 to bubble boy how introverted am I.

I'm here for more Angela

is that who pic is? [OP] here, pic unrelated
>>18480016
So you prefer socialising instead of not being able to talk to people because of loud music? That doesn't sound very introverted.
I agree with you 100%.
There is a baby seagull in my neighbours garden so the fuckers have been swooping at people, I got to go to work later, right now the plan is to sprint if they go for me,I can hear the bastards right now, what do?
I have no advice for you but I do have this

been using this shit and it really doesnt work
Bumping, I wish you luck anon. Spilled fryer grease all over my fucking pants today and no matter how hard I scrub it just stays.
Me and my roommates/best friends (three of them) for like 5 years were all held hostage in our house three times. We were dealing weed. Shit got real, people were taken to hospital but we're all fine. Feel like the fabric of our friendship hasn't been the same since. Can it?

>three times.
Surely you should have stopped by at least the second time
Can anyone here offer some legal advice? I am currently serving probation for a mischief and assult charge, and have only 2 months remaining on the sentence. However a couple days ago I was drunk (very drunk) and thought I could get away with stealing a $6 bottle of alcohol. Needless to say, I didn't. And now I am facing an additional charge as well as the risk of violating my probationary terms. The thing is, my current sentence will be served before I am tried for this new charge, so should I even bother telling my PO or should I keep my mouth shut? I just recently got my self off the streets and got a decent job so the last thing I need is jail time. I know I can ask legal aid about this tomorrow but I'm a little paranoid right now.

I think you should rot in jail you fucking human garbage
So am I right to assume from what I've seen that this board is just /r9k/-lite? Does this board have a "culture"?, or is it just floaters from other boards that come for actual advice then leave?
On /adv/, the Hide Thread button is your best friend. Most of the shit here is repetitive, so specific that you can't answer it, or bait. There are a handful of threads here that are worth posting in, but you have to filter out the others.

lurk moar
How do you know you're an adult? And that you're at a point of no return in your life?
No matter how I try to get in tune with my inner child, trying to see things from the perspective of those days, and understand why I would think a certain way when I was young -- I just can no longer understand anything from that time. Like why kids love the taste of cinnamon toast crunch. It's all been lost on me.
The difference between childhood and adulthood is hope. You seem to be losing it, which makes you feel old.
Pessimism can be resolved by surrounding yourself with positive people, doing things you love, learning new things, etc.

A rather overly-American outlook.
So I'm finally trying to ditch all of my CDs and go digital. However, I'm not quite sure what the best way to transfer that information is. It seems to me like the most common methods are simply copying over the files to a new folder on your machine, or creating an actual disk image. Does anybody have any advice about either and what the best way to transfer files is?
Best way is to make iso copies of the disks. Just remember, if your hard-drive ever gets fucked it is all gone.

That's what I was thinking. The thing is that I'm on OS X and .cdr is the disk image that the system can create. It seems though that depending on the KIND of disc, this is only sometimes successful. Regular discs with typical folders get created into a disc image just fine. Audio CDs and video game CDs (which by the way have Mac and Windows support) work but only for one operating system. It seems like kind of a complicated process.
>hit it off with girl
>we start texting for hours a day
>one day I sperg out and ghost her
>2 years later
>feeling lonely and thinking about texting her again
is it worth it anons? how do I play this off smoothly?

You don't get to go back to someone you've ghosted.
>>18479725
Well, guys don't, but it pretty much never comes up.
Hey /adv/ question for you all.
There's this girl at a nearby Arco gas station that's homely but cute. Always has this super outgoing personality and we've chit chatted maybe about 4 times.
Kind of curious how I don't spill the spaghetti on asking her out eventually. She hasn't mentioned a boyfriend and seems about my age 21ish. I'm just nervous since this isn't like Tinder.
Was thinking of walking up getting some gas for car and ending the convo with something like, "Hey its always great talking to you, here's my number if you want to catch a movie or play pool at the bar sometime."
This too awkward or should I wait until I've seen her more than 4 times to even attempt?
>>18479690
I'd say try it, my dude. 4 times seems like a decent amount to ask her out. You're really over-thinking it, just casually drop something similar to what you said and you should be fine. Worse thing to happen would be she doesn't contact you. Won't know unless you try. Best of luck, anon.

Thanks, appreciate it!
I am oblivious of my diagnosed autism and that obliviousness if destroying me. I have taken a lot of acid and smoked a dumptruck of weed yet it only gives me brief glimpses of reality
>>18479668
The amount of dopamine released by weed and acid is not reality. It is better than reality.
how to act when you meet a one night stand afterwards?
"oh hey I really liked nutting on your face"
>>18479650
Say "I missed you"
>>18479650
"wanna make it a two night stand?"
I know this may not be the right board for this, but can someone decipher this screen for me? Im playing the Japanese version of a game, and Im not the most fluent...
>>18479645
Its an achievement screen, just do shit until it gets unlocked
Need suggestions for career paths that can be achieved through certification/not a ton of schooling. I'm not expecting any 6figure jobs. I'm currently a dog groomer but I'm leaning towards getting into medical billing/coding. The program in my area is a bit pricey but it's a set deal and I would likely be able to start working once being certified.
I have also been recommended looking into accounting. The math involved is apparently not as difficult as one would expect but I'm not sure where to begin with looking it.
