First date advice?
I've got a date with an absolute bombshell tonight, which i'm excited and nervous for. We're going out for dinner.

Last first date i had, i paid. The girl had just moved here and didn't have a job yet, so i was just trying to be decent. I think i should probably pay tonight, but i don't want to look like a bitch.

Going back to the last first date i went on, i simply texted her later on saying i had a great time and "i'd like to take you out again sometime", and it worked. Girl was about a 6/10 though, one i'm meeting tonight is miles hotter than her. I don't want to look needy.

After a lot of soul searching I finally figured out what I want to do...software engineering/software web development. I've taken some free courses and I've done HTML, CSS, algorithms, binary, logic gates...learning python atm. I'm still new though. Should I

I'm enrolled in my community college but it only transfers to a university that has barely any tech community so it would be hard to get internships to pay off loans. I could go to a university that has better opportunities yet I'd have to get loans for all four years of schooling.
Is it worth it to save money for the year, lean more code and go to the university with more opportunities? Or should I just go to my community college for the first year? Or should I not even get a degree?

Is it worth a year of your life to put off college? No, but do go to CC first, first year calculus is the same there

Look into software training bootcamps. They are designed for beginners to become ready to be hired, in 3 to 6 months depending on the program. They teach you everything. It's a catch 22 because they have better material than university, you learn better because it's more personal, often less expensive and way less time consuming, but the downside is it's not as valuable as a degree in the long run.

Hey /adv/, I'm thinking about starting to donate Plasma and Bone Marrow for some extra money. Does anyone have experience with this? Particularly for Leukolab in california. Best I know is that they pay the best and you hit somewhere around 250$ per month with plasma and 300$ per bone marrow donation (which you can do every 10 weeks). Anyone have general tips for this sort of thing?

Hey guys,
May be a bit of a long post but I need help on a certain issue. 2 days back I ate a burger when I was out, and the next day I felt pretty gassy and couldn't eat most of my lunch.
I was also feeling anxious because a friend of mine wanted me to smoke pot with her but I wasn't comfortable with the idea of smoking with her, plus I had a bad trip (believe it or not) the second last time I smoked. When I met up with her I was having some chest discomfort.
However, I decided to smoke with her anyways, we did it outside which felt really uncomfortable for me. She did a very bad job of rolling and put a shit ton of tobacco in, and I only took like 2 puffs while she smoked the rest (she burned it pretty badly too so a lot of wasted weed).
After that I started to feel like shit, I was having chest pains and I went home, but couldn't sleep until 3 am.
Next day I wake up feeling very nauseous, my anxiety is through the roof, had diarrhea throughout the day. When I got home I slept a bit and now just feel really groggy and weak, I still feel pretty anxious and have chest pains
I just can't tell, did that little weed I smoked fuck me up because I was mentally unprepared or did I get sick from that burger? I still feel like shit but I'm staying with my parents atm and I can't tell them the full details of why I feel so horrible. Btw my friend got very high but she was completely fine, and she's more of a beginner than I am.
