The sound is WAY too loud, and most of the art isn't finished. There is also a typo or two as well.

It has multiple choices, and 3 different endings to the demo.

Currently the CG's aren't finished so this is a beta of the demo, once I get paid on payday I'm going to hire an artist to finish those bits off before polishing the rest of it.

I used RenPy simply for speed and functionally. Producing a quick demo was my main goal this month. By doing so, I have hopefully shown and inspired a few people that it is far easier to create a game whilst waiting for another.

If people truly like this game, then I assure you I would be looking for a proper coder, and I will likely leave renpy behind in order to create an actual proper game. This demo is nothing more than a brief introduction.

I will have a proper artist working on the game, plus the BG artist I currently use I believe is very good. There are another 40+ bgs not even included in the demo that are being worked on to create an entire village, allowing for multiple, endless views.

The completed village would also be usable in another engine, allowing for more freedom of movement.

However, all of this was organized my myself on a limited budget. You give me a budget like Tropic has (had) and I'm sure I can push it far beyond my expectations.

The demo itself will be polished up and I expect the rest of the artwork to be finished within the next 7 days. I work full time, but as most of the assets are already completed, I should be able to release a fully functioning demo within 9 days. That's my new target, and as shown that I can hit my targets, I hope you guys will join me on the ride.

My character art hasn't had a mention. It is now all complete, but as my character artist took too long, and people don't seem to like it very much, I won't be using her again.

That being said, I don't think Trainerfan has bad art, but its more of a case of time taken. If you spend a week changing some feet because from fag is looking at the wrong part of the image, then it will never get finished.

Not everyone will like every image, nor every game. Make the game you want to make, and if people like it, its a bonus, but if you are going to make a game, at least show progress.

Renpy can also use movies and music and all that shit rather easily as well. Use an ogg or ogv converter (Theres one online that changes it for you, google it) and you're set.

Images are pretty easy as well. One thing that I did not realize at first, was about images on screen. In your script.rcy you and use a bit of my code;

So, /stg/, I'm starting Pokeslut Trainer, I won't commission any art until all the framework is done (I'll probably use placeholder images from existing art, with permission of artists).

Basically you'll be an unnamed character training one or more women from the Pokemon anime - the purpose being as part of healing your pokemon and making them stronger.
The more depraved your slaves get, the more of a boost your pokemon get and the further you progress through gyms/the pokemon league.

To keep it simple I'll just use Ren.py, I should have the framework done fairly quickly if I'm not waiting for art.

TF's Korra Trainer is okay, but it really doesn't hit the right spots for me. He focuses really hard on realism in regards to the training, and it detracts from the fun of the game. Having Korra completely under your control at the start of the game, and then resorting immediately to abuse to grind down her will isn't all that entertaining for me. I would've preferred a game in which you slowly have Korra compromise her morals with more finesse and less verbal and physical abuse. In his game, you just abuse her, and she breaks. The game I want to see has you get her there with more temptation and trickery, but the setting TF chose more or less completely precludes that, so I keep hoping for new projects to come along.

TF's writing does seem to be improving, but it still needs some more polish. It's hard to determine the quality of the final art from some preliminary work, but it also seems like DE might be phoning it in for an easy payday. While I wish TrainerFan well on his project and hope to see it complete someday, I do somewhat resent it for existing. I think that other projects might be scared off by someone else working on a similar game. I also think that I'm not alone in TF's game not touching my special trainer
place, which is why there are still so many Korra projects popping up despite a ubiquitous "Korra Trainer" already being worked on.
