As for the women, it's the height of femininity. You take womn who has curves to the end of time, and I'm talking an hourglass figure, wide, fertile hips, and such, and that is much more of a woman than one who is overly muscled and has no shape, resembling more of a man than woman. It's attraction to the feminine, gynephilia, and taken to extremes you get the people who like bimbos and big lips and huge expansion and stuff.

To be fair the "big and muscular" look for men never really started until the 80's when it took the fitness craze that started in the 70's and went into overdrive with it.
