I use a 60$ wacom bamboo pen tablet, the cheapest they sold back in 2009. A wacom tablet will get you far if you put in the time it takes to get use to it.
I also suggest getting a g13 logitech game pad for keybinding if you want to be really fast. I bind all my tools and brushes to it and it help when moving between programs as well because I can set up a different profile for that program but set all the keybindings to the same keys. I can go from sai to gimp to photoshop with out any learning curve since all the controls-keybinds- stay the same.

This would be a secondary purchase though, only get it if you actually get comfortable with a tablet first.

Sai is one of the best programs for line work. Photoshop ,kritia, firealpaca, and gimp are all pretty heavy resource hogs and prone to crashing. Sai, doesn't have all the bells and whistles the others do, but what it does do it does well . Such as line work and cel shading type art and does so lightly performace wise. While the others take time to load up. Sai is ready the moment you click the icon to start it. It also has one of the only line smoothing tools that does it on the fly rather then after the stroke.

It's a uphill climb. The only programming I ever did in the past was in gscript for a game called graal online, which was over 6 years ago. Thankfully gscript is very similar to python so I picking it up well.

As for the project as a whole I'd say it's about 10% done. I've finished up scripting and writing the interview that starts the game which has multiple branching conversations. Some giving you bonuses.

They haven't yet at least. Which is why I've kept most of the project to myself, at least till I have more to show. I've attempted to keep the idea of the game mostly on molding the girls in the archive to what you want them to do. Which is what I assume the stg wants. An example would be..... Say tropic plays the game, His Raven might be trained to really enjoy anal, while Artguy's Raven might be better at giving oral. Both players can choose both options, but the resulting event will differ depending on what they trained that girl to do. While I am a fan of sotn I don't fully believe in locking out gameplay from those willing to stick with it to get more. How ever, since each stage of that event will differ on the variable it's called to, if you over train a girl you might miss out on something funny or like wise happening, skipping it. I haven't come up with a way to handle that just yet unless I use another variable to what the player has seen and has not seen yet. Right, ok. So in witch trainer Genie corrupts hermione by abusing her sense of pride. He does this to reduce her moral values, so that he can perform increasingly more sexual acts. So in that case the corruption was to her morales. an alternate path could have been to corrupt her intelligence, making her dumber over time so she starts to forget what is wrong with the situation in the first place.
