I'm sorry. I should have waited a couple of hours.

So I brought this up in the board-tan thread.

In the /co/verse setting there's something like a pantheon called The /Co/smic Ones, which all kind of have a foot in the meta where some of them are aware that they are fictional.

The idea has been around since 2008 at least, but within the past couple of years it's been getting some revival of interest along with a bunch of other /coc/ stuff.

Right now there are still some members on it from way back when that are too closely parodying existing characters, so we've been either redoing them or replacing them.

The /aco/lyte Wizard seems like he'd made a good fit in replacing The /co/smic Peeper, as well as instating him at The Archives, which is an in-universe collection of all the stories in the setting.
He'd be the guy presiding over the smut sections of The Archives.

Thoughts?

Another thing to mention, since this /Co/smic One business places him in The Archives, he's going to be under The Archivist (this lady), the entity responsible for maintaining and preserving the content of the OC universes of the setting.

In the meta representation of the setting, that'd place him in the role of an assistant to her who looks after all the smutty stuff.
Is that going to be an issue?

Some of them are very social (Whisper and Skull King in particular), and some of them are totally reclusive (like The Archivist herself).

Having friends who aren't part of the group isn't a disqualifying factor.

Right now my focus is on the wizard since he's the one up for being added to this particular group.

Eventually I do think more /aco/ things will end up on the /co/ wiki, though.
I dread the day when I will have to make an entry for /aco/-tan since I think that subject is going to remain extremely polarized here for months and there will always be some vocal group who will not be happy with the outcome, no matter who /aco/-tan ends up being.
The board-tan discussion for /trash/ seems to be slightly less argument educing, but I'm not ready to touch that one either.

I think glob-tan is a creation of the wizard's and bulb-tan is a superhero who has some relation to the wizard, either as an apprentice or someone who he sponsors?
I'm mostly working off of general impressions.

I've always had trouble with the power levels of the /Co/smic Ones.

There's the super meta ones that are a step above the rest, but some of those are still Lesser Ones somehow, and some Greater Ones don't have any meta awareness.

I think the Greater Ones are supposed to be powerful all the time with no way to turn it off and nothing needed for their power to be maintained, and the Lesser Ones are either subservient to a Greater One or need something to boost their powers to that level, but cannot maintain it indefinitely.

It should be the modern times but they are located in a smaller town than the Cove that is somewhere out west, possibly a port town on a river with a red light district and near a prairie. The city would be a bit rural on the outskirts of it with farmers and ranchers so it won't look too much out of place with people walking around in cowboy attire.

I would rather the two cities be like Keystone City and Central City rather than this be the suburbs of Cove. I would called it Acorn Valley but I don't know if we should use the "put the boards name in the city's/person's name" so much. It limits any possible names that could be better like names that are double entendres. That naming convention should be for board-tans only.

I've been through worse shitstorms over OC than this /aco/-tan argument, but none that have produced the sheer volume of new pics that this one has.
