Ah fuck it why not.

Basically it was a warhammer 40k fanventure a long ass time ago and the gist of it was that she was the new commissar on a ship and needed to find her place. She was actually posing as a man for the entirety of the comic, partially because it never got brought up so I never corrected people's assumptions (and dropped a few hints here and there) but also partially because female commissars in 40k tend to get sluttified or just look absolutely awful and she didn't want to be associated with that. It really helped that she was wearing a piece of carapace plate chest piece under her jacket most of the time so her tits never showed up even when she took the jacket off.

(also I am aware I can't draw at all, hence MS Paint)

I feel like we could try and be a bit more active with the people posting OCs, to maybe help alleviate that atmosphere. It stops being "post requests of your characters" and more "tell us about your character, drop a reference, we'll chat and sort of develop stuff together maybe".

i have a fantasy/moba concept i use to stoke the OC/art block fires

i have a few characters/lore created and a couple of concepts, but i want to do more.

i also don't want to flood the thread. so, i want to open it up to a gamey suggestion system and then focus on one character at a time.

1 -- pick a faction:
Gold Crown -- good guys
Malevenea -- bad guys
Mercs -- unaffiliated swingers

2 -- pick a role:
- mage -- magical powerhouses and support casters
- tank -- high endurance and disruptive guardians
- warrior -- all-around bruisers
- assassin -- burst-damage strikers
- hunters -- sustained damage

3 -- submit a theme! ninja, witch doctor, prisoner, whatever you like. can include appearance and power.

they're more for keeping things orderly and deciding what abilities will help them fulfill that role in the team.

so a "fist-fighting battle mage" immediately brings to mind, IMO, that it could be an assassin, warrior, or tank depending on their abilities

all that said, i also like breaking the roles where appropriate and interesting. HotS has Kharazim/Diablo 3 monk (http://heroesofthestorm.gamepedia.com/Kharazim) who can decide as the game goes if he wants to spec toward damage or healing. i'm all for having fun and being creative with execution here.

also, i'm not big on numbers. low/medium/high are fine to get the gist of abilities/stats. can take a gander at one of my current characters if you'd like a guide.

I think it's okay to write answers in "character" to delieveries like >>224202 did but if you want to do more than one you should draw a pic to go with it or something, and still not let it go too far. I am okay with OCs interacting with other OCs, but not in text form only. this is an art thread after all.

That's just my opinion of course.

It all comes down to your OC capturing the interest of a drawfriend, by either their appealing design or the background you give them, so the more creative you are, the more likely you will get a delivery,

anyways, forensic doc who likes obscure tomes and texts not realizing things takes an interest in him the longer he reads those impossible yet more readale by the day hieroglyphs.

I have an idea of him just falling deeper into the madness and starting to love it by the end of it. Seeing eyes in the corners, feeling something scaley or slimey brush up against his bare skin when he's taking a bath. Finding that he likes the company of the whispers better than the people around him.

The voices tells him to do bad things.

He keeps finding the bodies and they, as if in tandem with his mind, keeps detoriating from what you would call humanity.

Something needed to fill the void left by the removal of these concepts, and that new power was Lust Everybody wants to fuck most everybody else to some degree and for various reasons. Think of it this way: In our world, two people who get into an argument might grow angry enough to start fighting, or have themselves under control and not. Replace fighting with fucking.

Lust creates motivation, Lust generates magic, Lust is a force unto itself, Lust is literally power, and it's what levels characters in this MOBA.

so Ivander very well may be old enough to remember the war and how the world was before, but he couldn't bring himself to do so now. he could, however, work to get laid. the thrill of the hunt is still there, and it's just as satisfying.

Anyway, here's one of my OCs in a couple outfits. She's a bit on the chubby side. For a long and complicated reason that I don't feel like explaining, she has sharp, shark like teeth, a very long flexible tongue, and pretty much any liquid that comes from her body (saliva, blood, mucus, etc.) is a strange black substance.

Someone linked to something called polyvore last thread, and I figured why not. Made an account, made a ref sheet for my OC, Deborah.

Deborah is an adventurer/mercenary/"freelancer"; in the setting she's in, this is an actual, valid line of work people can pursue. She's a bit cold and vicious, but is also rather open sexually, giving her a more sensual side too.

She's noticeably busty, which contrasts her somewhat petite frame. Fairly pale from her Irish ancestry, and also platinum blonde. Something sexy with her would have her domming, probably something rough and against the wall or in a group of guys and girls.

Time to venture out from the General Drawthread I suppose.

This is Kami, one of the OCs I draw when I'm bored and not really feeling anything in any of the other drawthreads. She's normally not this clothed.

The background story is that she's a member of a very secretive group of people that have control of their bodies on a molecular level. This allows them to alter their body shape, composition, density, etc at will, limited only by the amount of matter at their disposal. It can also be used on other individuals to an extent if physical contact is established. Masters of this ability are functionally immortal and very difficult to injure. Fortunately, this group is dedicated to the betterment of humanity (and in future stories, the betterment of life in general), working in secret to protect mankind from various diseases and threats.

There's some other BS story used to justify her banging monsters, historical stuff, and future stuff, but that's not terribly important. What matters is that she's old enough to be from a civilization long since lost to history.

Personality-wise, she's a very kind person who's willing to help anyone in need. Sometimes this involves curing a disease, but for my purposes here, it usually involves banging someone or something. Her abilities allow her to breed with damn near anything, which she does constantly and with great enthusiasm.

The thing is naturally she'd be super feminine as she's the daughter of a ridiculously attractive Inquisitor. Unfortunately she's under the mistaken impression that said inquisitor is actually a rogue trader, and despises her for it. Naturally she doesn't want to be anything like her and ran away from home at a young age to join the commissariat. Instead wants to be more like a certain HERO OF THE IMPERIUM since she hails from Perlia (where he's pretty much worshiped), hence why she tries to act masculine (but sucks at it).

Of course, her mother knows and is enabling her at every turn, greasing hands to get her into the commissar program despite her being too old, making sure one of her agents keeps an eye on her at all times, etc.

Ok, here's my OC. Um, her name is Czarettoh. She's a semi-villain from a story that I wrote several years ago in which she is a member of a trio of invaders from another dimensional plane that are trying to convert earth into a slave factory. Haven't got a name for him yet, but he lives in a shitty city with a corrupt mayor.

The way I do lines and shading doesn't work digitally...the lines are just a mess and I can't blend digitally the same way I do on paper, since I just rub the pencil physically to blend it...have yet to find a way to do this digitally since it doesn't behave the same way as analog.

I do have a program that simulates real life mediums, but not sure if this PC I use can run it.

I'm still tinkering with concepts here, but the overall idea is that the bandana cat (the one in the panel on the bottom left) works with the cat lady (on the top left), and ends up having to move to a spare room on her house (not the room with the handcuffs though) for whatever reason.

Also she owns a shop.
