It's one of the few games I didn't skip the dialogues and the narrative constantly made me ask "what?" and I have a feeling it's not gonna change in future updates, plus the terrible grinding and nonexistent sense of direction doesn't make it any better. If it's shit it's the fault of the devs, not the mechanics. There's multiple ways of going about it. Regular combat mechanics with sex as the reward, combat mechanics where sex is part of the moveset, or combat mechanics where the sex is a lose condition or an affliction. This comes back to diversity in gameplay. Nobody would play AAA videogames for very long if everything was Call Of Duty. Just like nobody would play porn games if they were all visual novels. People have fucking preferences, genres have niches. Get the fuck over it, like what you like, back the fuck off of people actually putting effort into shit.

On the side, it does help to have breaks or lulls. There's no way you're going to have it stand up or gush out for more than an hour without getting tired. The non-erotic mechanics work as a buildup to the erotic mechanics and make those erotic mechanics more satisfying. If you're just getting scene after scene thrown in your face you'll lose interest quickly or wear yourself out. It's beneficial to certain types of games.

Dialogue is exceedingly subjective, perhaps more subjective than any other aspect of writing fiction. Perhaps you should try to write dialogue and post your work, then you'd have a been understanding at just how hard it can be to capture a daily conversation without it becoming overly mundane.
