I have scaled back my plans for release several times due to a lack of content, and the lack of progress gets me down so I spend less time drawing which feeds into itself.
At the moment I'm writing scenes myself, but it's not my strength, and I work a full time job so it's not ideal.

In terms of content we're close to what was outlined in the plans for the demo mostly because I made sure the outline was close to what was ready for the demo.
There is a bunch more content that's done that isn't being included, but that's because the connective tissue that ties that content to the rest of the scenes isn't done.

I honestly have no clue how long it will take Mo to put everything together once it's in his hands, but I'm committed to having everything needed on my end done by the end of the month.

Hey guys I'm sorry to say that there will be a delay for the 0.7 beta build.

Had a lot of social things to do this month, mainly birthdays and unexpected meet ups of old friends. Along with February being a shorter month this has left me with little time to work on the projects.

However it should be ready to roll out on the Sunday evening (GMT), but it's likely I won't finish the alpha build until Friday. I don't want to release an unstable build for AZL (considering how many issues with saves that can create) and I want to ensure my alpha testers get plenty of time to test it.

Me again, I basically just added parts to my master psd and lined up various other heads/hair/etc that I shamelessly pilfered to the Herm body.

Original plan was to use that as a base to build a generic paper doll, but I got bored like everybody else.

Too bad about renpy not having shader support... you could get tons of mileage out of your art that way... Akabur should really switch to something with that and 2D spline based skeletal animations for paperdoll sprite parts. The waste going on with the brute force sprite overlays is gutwrenching.

New boobs is new just about everything if your build is using a ton of different torso items. Again, another limitation of the engine. If we had spline controls to play with, building variations like that would be far less overall work, after the initial rigging/setup was done for each piece.

I have only a little experience with that, but coming from 3D, I expect there are similar solutions, for a limited range of camera angle per set.

It's more a problem of how artists gonna artist. Take Akabur, who likes to start out with a pen/pencil. Of course he'll implement a shitty sprite horror show that will doom him to never be able to really deliver.

And if you have a programmer that comes up with your super neat skeleton/spline/procedural cloth on named keypoints whatever system, then you wont find an artists that wants to work with that either, and the programmer will come up with some ugly, generic shit at best.

It's pretty hard to come up with a reasonable approach (and production pipeline too!).

I was a decent writer, but its been way too fucking long since I've worked in anything. Also, language is a barrier for me when writing dialog/narrative.

In the first section of the game, there's a "love" route and a "slave" route involving Katara from The Last Airbender.
They sort of wind up similar if you don't pay too much attention to the text.

As far as I know, the second part of the game isn't finished yet.

Korra is supposed to be in the third or fourth part of the game.
If you're not really into Avatar, I'd suggest waiting until it's finished so that you'll have plenty of content.
