I think 4E is the most promising of the big projects currently under development but I have zero investment in the Avatar universe so it's less enjoyable.

SC34 was meh but I spent my childhood playing Jak and Daxter so the idea of breaking Ashelin is 10x hotter to me. It's just not that fun for me if trainer games use characters unfamiliar to me.

That's true but it's just not as fappable for me if it's characters I know nothing about. I think HP is meh as well but Hermione is the exact kind of bossy bitch type character that is fun to break in trainer games.

I'd also add that it's utter shit when characters are too easily broken and transition from innocent/reluctant to cumslut based on one stat tracker or something. I found this with Katara in 4E. Grind is pretty shit but at least it builds anticipation. Something 4E could learn from WT/PT I guess.

Hey /aco/. I posted this at the end of the last thread, but I’m not sure if a lot of people saw it.
I've posted on here a couple of times about this Midna game I'm working on, and I'd like to field some opinions on the writing of the lewd scenes. For example, this is the first major one that happens, so it is a lot less sexual than some of the stuff that comes after. If you think it sucks that's fine, but some constructive criticism would be nice. I’ve already changed one or two things that were suggested in the last thread.

Right now the game is envisioned to be essentially two parts. The first part will be more of a VN with puzzle elements in the form of quests. The second part would be a slave trainer, with a heavy emphasis on dress-up elements, various stats to build up, money-making, and body modification. I do not. I want to be as upfront as possible about this, so no one can yell at me later in case I don't deliver. Anon, do you prefer your grind systems to include negative consequences, or would you rather they just prevent you from trying things you're not yet able to achieve, either by the character going "can't do that yet" or simply greying out the options?

Whenever I try something too early, and get some sort of negative consequence, (like Hermione getting mad in WT), I usually just "scroll back" or reload. This makes me thing it might be better to just use the Four Elements system or Soldier's Life method, since it cuts down on unsatisfying grinding (as opposed to the satisfying grinding, which feels like progress).

On the other hand, there could be a worthwhile narrative point to balancing domination with affection in the breaking process, it's just that I haven't seen it done well in any games.
