I found an old distressed cover someone put up as a transparent png then just overlaid it and changed the opacity slightly. Then i filled another layer just below that with white or grey and used multiply on a slightly grainy texture and lowered the transparency on that.

As to the fondle image. It was the only other yeti image I had and figured a quick color job would make it work for the cover.

The issue isn't gay versus trap. The issue is the direction from which the concepts are approached.

Iris ended up being gay as a result of /coc/ FIRST going "Iris is immune to code" and THEN going "How can we justify her code immunity. Plot first, then '""fetish""".

Frankly, it's never come up in anything approaching "canon" yet. Iris could easily NOT be gay, because the entire point is that she's got code immunity and can see through secret identities. It doesn't matter how we get there.

Can you say this is the case with the trap character that's being proposed? Because to me, it looks like you've got a guy going "I want to add a trap." and then trying to justify it with the code stuff. It may seem the same but it' the different direction; you guys keep going fetish first and THEN plot. That is the primary reason why you're meeting pushback.

Though while we were putting together the script for a strip involving a superteam Silver Queen is a member of, we did hatch the idea that adult heroes like SQ and her teammates are all drawn with their eyes closed as a sign of upholding a law they don't even realize exists (i.e. the Code).

Had an idea for a villain. Probably garbage but I'll share it anyway - "The Sharecropper." Imagine an older grizzled black man kinda like Uncle Remus but disgruntled, motivated to rob and cause general mayhem towards a society which has wronged him. His posture tends hunched over from the weight of his large sack of weaponized vegetables. Weapons include popcorn firecrackers, turnip stink bombs, and his specialized organic growth formula (hint hint)

Two specific aspects I have in mind for appearance are suspenders and a corncob pipe.

an idea i had about introducing a supporting character into the lore
Meet Maxine Anderson, Audrey's long lost aunt on her mother's side. a detective in a neighboring city who is on vacation, Maxine first see's GG and think she look alot like her sister at that age. Using her skills she tracks down golden girl and reunites with Audrey.
