Yeah, a from the ground up perspective as such a plague happens would be more interesting to read, but I like that story as a kind of "history of future past" kind of thing.

It was looking like it would take place over months to maybe even a couple fo ears. So far all they'd done was spout (complete) tails indicating what they'd become and the story was gone right when they found out what was happening and the next round of changes was about to start.

I can't remember specifics. Seems like the girl with the pig tail may have recently lost a lot of weight or something but I may be thinking of something else. It's been years. One interesting thing was most or all of them had pretty serious boyfriends. You rarely see that kind of relationship dealt with in tf.

Other physical features. Maybe the one that tends to be chubby has a rosy complexion or a slightly upturned nose. Maybe the cow is a pale skinned brunette on top of disproportionately large breasts.

Assuming women all change at more or less at the same rate (even if it's into a million different species), in what order should their body parts change? Start with tails, and then the ears? On a larger scale, I can see how having a rigid series of transformation steps applied to so many victims could make for interesting story ideas, since it would provide so many different reactions to (generally) the same humiliating process.

Also, if women are turning into a broad variety of animals, that would provide the variety of experience that would keep every individual woman's experience fresh - 3 months into the global change, all women might be at roughly the same transformation stage, but that might mean some women can no longer breath outside of water while others can't stop lactating while even others have lost the use of their hands and need help from men to keep the fading facade of their humanity intact.

If you wanted to vary things even more within a rigid, global-scale transformation process, you could also just have some victim transforming a bit faster or slower than others and giving some women more time to freak out about the changes that are eventually going to happen to them, even if they're behind the curve.
