Even her design has stupid elements, and Troyca sucks enough that they're probably just flaws for real instead of intended to represent that she's a teenager's plagiarized character. The hat is front-heavy and oversized, needs special sections for the hair, said hair is a matted mess and the "pigtails" practically don't exist, the arm band can't stay on because it's too big, her skirt billows out too far, she doesn't wear pants, her shoes are stupid for combat and the spurs are useless, she has eight sheaths she never uses and can't reach well, etc.

Episode 17 and 18 were great. 19 was a bit less. 20 showed us that Altair is fucking bullshit and 21 proved that the entire buildup of 20 episodes was for an ending as bullshit as the power level of Altair.

The only issue I had with Meteora is that she spent 90% of her time just saying how everything worked. It felt similar to someone explaining a joke or a magic trick. There was nothing for the audience to sit there and work out as it went along because she gave all the answers straight away.

I liked her character but I wish they did more of "actions over words" and thus allowing the audience to figure it out or speculate and then use her character to confirm it.

Something like that at least.

It's a lopsided design that looks really awkward. Because she spends so much of her time just standing around that's a lot of opportunities to notice what's off with it. If it were intentional to distinguish between fan character and professional it would have some merits, though still be a bit too rough, but the show gives us no reason to believe Troyca is competent enough for that to have been the intention or that Hiroe was going for something like that.

I don't dislike her that much, but I don't like the fact that the plan she kept explaining and everyone worked hard on it for 6 months went to shit in just 2 episodes, making the actual interesting characters look like idiots.You could write them off the show and it woud have no impact on the story as it was always about the cute girl Altair and her uninteresting sob story of suicidal mom and fanta.
I dropped this show when Selesia and Alice died, and reading the threads it looks like it was a good decision since Souta reviving Setsuna (with a deus ex machina to boot) was painfully obvious.

But honestly, are they really returning home? What if someone even more powerful and autistic than Altair manifested in the real world, who would be there to defend it? Scratch that, there's no way it didn't happen before.
You can't count on Magane, since she's a wildcard and she'd gladly team up with the guy who'd want world destruction if she got bored. I also think they can't count too much on Meteora if they ever decided to keep her, as she would one day backstab them since she stated in the 4th episode that she would have teamed with Altair if her story wasn't as interesting as Selesia's.
