That's not the whole issue. Misuzu doesn't want to lose Tomo, period. Remember her getting pissed off at Tomo thinking she couldn't make it into the same college? Regardless of any romantic feelings, Misuzu knows that if Tomo and Jun do start dating, Tomo will be hanging out with Misuzu less. Partially because she'd be doing stuff with her boyfriend, but also because Tomo relies on Misuzu for help to get Jun. Misuzu doesn't want to lose that.

I can't imagine reading this for Tomo or Jun, and I don't mean because they don't go anywhere.

The thing is now with the manga. I started it loving how Tomo always running into Jun then always having that moment ruined by him treating her like a normal friend instead of a FEMALE friend. Which should just be fine. Yet we would have no real story, but the conclusion was set up. Fumita wants to milk it.

Misuzu is always just so blahzay of the situation, and a bit of a bitch. Which is fine, that is her character. Yet when you find out how selfish she is, and how she was the wedge getting between the two from being together. You start to get tired of it.

Carol is unironcally one of the better characters. This is fact now. She has done more to move the story along with some resemblance of progress. Tomo coward out on her second confession to conclude the story. Even after Carol prevented Misuzu from interfering. Probably one of the worst cop-outs in this manga.

Thank god there is at least one character worth reading right now.

Having read hundreds of chapters yesterday I can say you guys are exaggerating.

Carol's "arc" is really fucking short, it just seems long to you because of the 1 daily page format.

Also this was an important chapter, it's about Misuzu, not Carol, and solving Misuzu's arc is something that has to be done before getting to the end of the story (Jun and Tomo sorting their shit out).
