Kanbaru is honestly the perfect protagonist post-Hana. She's the most interconnected to the oddity world for a human and it would be interesting to see how she deals with oddities without the use of the Rainy Devil arm.
She is also known by all the specialists which also means they could show up without it being forced. "Gaen sent me" is literally enough excuse for Oshino and Kanbaru to hang out and discuss why he knew Tooe's name was a region pun like Suruga is in Suruga Monkey even though he had never met her and Kanbaru said Suruga came from Suruga-toi.

Sorta the issue with the series, everyone is Araragi-centric which usually isn't bad but his character has pretty much fully developed at this point.
He needs to move to the background and become a cool motherfucker like the specialists.
His entrance in Neko White and Hanamonogatari are prime examples of how cool he can be if he's not the central character.

Him one-shotting Kako and being the coolest motherfucker in existence at that very moment for Hanekawa really showed.

Drama's regen for example doesn't insta-heal the shotput damage while Araragi can lose limbs and instaheal them. The small arm thing didn't happen in the books, he regened immediately.

Episode is a hard counter to Vampires and by his own wording said that if the fight had kept up longer before he got sanded and choked that he would have been too tired to actually continue fighting.

Cutter is just a normal human and can't be expected to 1 v 1 a Vampire of Araragi's level so he uses Hanekawa.

It didn't matter to them whether they won or lost. Oshino told them that if the three of them are beaten, Kisshot would make Araragi a human again. This means Kisshot would be killing herself, thereby accomplishing the hunters' goals. They "jobbed" because they didn't need to win in order to get what they wanted.

It's not explained at all in the films but that's basically the reason why they even agree on the fair fights with Araragi in the first place.

As far as translated stuff goes Zaregoto is by far his best (Novel, the anime adaption is shit). The Katanagatari anime is pretty good. Medaka Box is a rollercoaster but entertaining.

His Death Note fanfiction is really good if you liked the manga. His xxxholic novel felt like a monogatari prototype, only the 3rd story is good but I never liked xxxholic to begin with.

The Shoujo Fujuubun manga is probably the best adaption so far, I think that's coming out this year by vertical.

Well the problem with CR in terms of content is that they only have the TV versions. This is a big deal because the monogatari series often has significant changes in the BD version, most notably bake which added 3 whole episodes.
The BD will have all the content and no encoding issues, but they have the same crappy aniplex subs as the CR version. Monogatari has *a lot* of signs, so the typesetting provided by fan releases on the torrents really makes a difference. Plus, aniplex subs are just bad in general.

Everyone is retarded if they don't watch in Light Novel (ACTUAL RELEASE) order.
It's the most satisfying flow between arcs that reveal aspects of characters at the right time to fully understand everything. It's how Nisio thought of them. The only reason the anime was released as it was were production issues.

He spent the book ribbing her to tell him oddity stories so that he'd help with Araragi. The whole book is her telling him of her travels while she hurries to get him to come back to Japan to help Araragi.

No shipping elements there, she was genuinely frustrated with him, especially because he kept interrupting to ask questions or shoot more bantz.
