She is implied to be bad academically. When she and her friends formed an study group for end of term exams she would be squeezing a gripper beneath the table while paying secondary attention to her studies. Then after the exam she would become angry and defensive when asked about her results.

But even so despite not being bookworm smart, she is actually very quick-witted. She has been able to think up a solution for a problem before her friends do and she can also trick people into revealing they are lying, or just figuring out they aren't telling the whole truth due to the way they worded things.

They seem to be upset about their tests and how their school work is going but I honestly never pay much attention.
She gets this really worried and ponderous look on her face while she's studying.
