You can give him better stats, but you're not gonna make him a better swordsman. In terms of melee combat, he'd still lose to the likes of Altria, Cu Chulainn, Herakles, Sasaki Kojiro, etc., etc. Losing Independent Action would be a far bigger handicap than a few stats.

Well yeah in an anime adaption (of the route where his identity doesn't even matter) where they can't include all the subtle hints, it might work on some people, but Nasu wrote the FSN VN and the mystery was initially intended for the VN readers, obviously. How the does the ranking with Archer's weapons and UBW work? The stats for UBW says E to A++ but all of his projections are degraded by one rank and he can't create Ex rank NPs so does the ranking refer to the original NPs themselves not taking into account the copied version? Or do projections when UBW is casted not suffer a derank because it is his world and not the real world.

And how does Archer kill Berserker 6 times if the highest rank he'd be able to pull off on a NP is B++ without using it as a BP. He doesn't use them as BPs because none of the wounds inflicted on Berserker are from explosions; They were nearly all lacerations. Can reinforcement affect rank or something?

Kuro also replicates a broken phantasm Excalibur but no one will ever cite Prisma Illya for canon or facts because it's a shitty magical girl spin-off that follows the Rule of Cool before sensibility and laws of the nasuverse.

The scene where Illya recreates Excalibur was written before Nasu stated that divine-forged weapons can't be forged. So afterwards, Hiroyuki was forced to backtrack and deliver a half-assed explanation stating that what Illya did was an "advanced exploit", which explains absolutely nothing.

The thing I like about Emiya not being able to copy Ea is imagining that the world itself placed a fucking limiter hin Emiya's head to prevent that from happening.

He can't copy divine weapons. Because they are universal constants. One's with unique power and places in the natural order of all things and thus have natural and undeniable domains of power that puts them above all other weapons that can be crafted by mortal beings and most divine beings.

He does something that can be considered a profane act. A grand blasphemy in the eyes of mages and gods alike.
He can copy them.
He understands their mystery and construction and can usurp their ultimate power with a copy of it.
He even forces his will upon all that is with an ancient and mostly forgotten magic called a reality marble. Within the fantasy that everyone else is forced to call reality he forges simulacrum of ultimate universal truths in the form of weapons from absolutely nothing but raw mana.

It's why gil hated him, called him a fake, and hesitated to use ea while in UBW.
