i cant. red haired, short haired blondie and purple glasses
>VA: Mizuha Kuraoka
>Miyako is an egoisical girl who speaks in Kansai dialect. She is 15 years old. Miyako is designed by Mieko Hosoi
Well shit, at least with kyoanus we could expect consistent animation. A1 brings nothing but sony shilling and QUALITY. I'm expecting to see a sony vaio 2 minutes into the first episode.
She's already the best girl don't even try fighting me on this
Fuck you aniplex for making me put on my VPN to watch this.
Still gonna buy the shit out of it though.
The CG actually looks really nice. I can deal with this kind of future.

once it airs the actual anime will look like garbage since actually animating kyoani designs is a fuck ton more effort than just having Horiguchi draw magazine spreads. They probably won't even get the eye designs right
You are absolutely right. There has yet to be a case when Horiguchi designed for a studio other than Kyoani where the quality didn't nosedive.
Most of them are newbie, or never landed a major roles before
>Sony Music Records and Aniplex will accept applications for auditions for the group until November 11, and then the companies will hold five rounds of auditions in December before announcing the final members.
>AKB48 founder and producer Yasushi Akimoto will produce the idol group
two of my biggest problems with wug were that the character designs were all super similar, so i couldnt remember who was who, and the VO work was abysmal, these designs look an improvement, but I'm not really convinced on the VO front
Wug was sentai iirc, and with yamakan as the director, it also have a heavier tone than normal idol show
meanwhile this is sony aniplex project, akb producer will produced the group, school-setting and cute design, atl the very least it won't be as bad as wug, i hope
>hates highschool settings
why do you even watch anime?
Shikata ga nai. I guess I'll keep at it because someone has to.
I'm confused, isn't that Kyoani's main character designer? But they don't work for Kyoani?
Go look at all of the anime that KyoAni has made in the past decade and look at how many of them have a high school setting. Its astounding how many times their shows are "high schoolers do *insert thing*". Is it really so hard to figure out why people are upset that they keep rehashing the same setting over and over again? I generally like KyoAni and even I'm getting tired of the same shit.
Alright, that explains a lot. Thanks
>we've gotten to the point where aniplex shills throw around Kyoani's name for good PR
For the 1% of them that are good.
Are you an idiot? Sora no Woto's character designer wasn't Horiguchi.
Probably I.G or the studio that animated the MV
I remembered that time when Kyoani did Idolshit. They can do it again I guess.
Fuck this is bad news for KyoAni, the anime will probably flop and will have shit animation (A1 gonna A1) but everyone will associate this failure with KyoAni because of the horiguchi designs.
This is a perfect opportunity for KyoAni haters and crossboarders.
It's the only episode I remember.
Japs like colours , an anime where all characters have black hair and black/brown eyes would be pretty boring to look at.
But moments when a jap father and white mother (don't know if there's an anime where the opposite is true) have a child who has blonde hair and blue eyes is one of the most pathetic things to ever exist.
>the anime will probably flop
Well, it doen't really matter, they have sony and aniplex money, and it's produced by Aki-P, he can easily tie the merchandise to AKB48 or nogizaka46
Horiguchi was a permanent employee at KyoAni while she was there, although she did do freelance illustration work on the side that, after leaving KyoAni, became her full-time career. She has not worked in animation since leaving KyoAni (I doubt this'll change with 22/7).
She had literally nothing to do with Sora no Woto. The character designer for that was Toshifumi Akai and he was adapting concept designs created by Mel Kishida. Horiguchi did the original artwork for the Kokoro Connect light novels, but she was not involved in the anime. Once again, it was Toshifumi Akai that was the character designer for the anime.
Firstly, he draws porn while Kyoani makes G rated character dramas. The focus on porn is the naked body. The focus on a character drama is speech and emotions, both of which are expressed on the face. Although I am not excusing sameface, it is much more unacceptable for Kyoani because their work focuses on the face so often.
Secondly, his characters always have unique outfits. Your average Kyoani show has the same outfits for all the girls because they all go to the same school. The only design differences between characters in a Kyoani is generally eye color and hair.
For entertainment, like anything else?
