Genderbent Arthur is probably the best decision they've ever made as she singlehandedly saved the franchise. Besides, you have Prototype for the male version, who turned out to be boring and inferior to the former in terms of character and backstory. Arthur only has his good looks and Takahiro Sakurai to back up his popularity. But little none actually gave a shit about the Prototype novels back then.
