Are Aria nightly threads still a thing? I also recall a few YKK threads a long while ago.
If not here's some choro music!

>>I checked out a little of the video, and the guy seemed pretty sincere, but they're expending effort dubbing a decade old show that honestly doesn't hold up visually. Add a dub that is unlikely to blow anyone away (that no one even asked for) and there's no way the reception will be anything but lukewarm at best, which is just a little sad. Did they actually get the funding?
They overhit their target funding by 200+% as of now, Aria dump anon, and the kickstarter has 4 days to go. They're redoing the bluray upscales for Animation and Natural from the original source, and hit the stretch goal to dub the entire series from Animation all the way to Avvenire and all the episodes, OVAs, picture dramas in between.
They're also releasing a new guidebook for backers only.

Wonder how that will compare to Japanese BDs, because upscaling there is fucking awful (DVDs look better).

Apparently the Rightstuf boss, a self-professed Aria fan, was very specific about reiterating his intention to have it done properly. Which is nice.

OH
So I guess I was totally fucking wrong then.
>needing a badly redrawn upscale
>needing a dub
For what purpose. I'm completely baffled that they got so much money. It reeks of being a scam.
Instead of that stupid idea they could've organized Choro Club world tour or some shit like that.

They could have done the greatest thing and got an official translation and release for the YKK manga.
What are Aria's iconic places I could visit in Venezia? Not talking about the obvious POIs, of course
>>161965500
just walk around the northwestern part of the city, it's magical
might want to go in the winter, though
>>161953500
there's nothing new to post though
>>161965500
Definitely visit the Castello district, particularly around the Arsenale.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to just wander around off the beaten path when you're in Venice. If you stick to the same streets as the rest of the crowds, following those yellow signs for S. MARCO, RIALTO, and FERROVIA, you're missing out on 95% of the beauty and charm of the city.
Take your music player of choice, crank up the Choro Club, and explore the nooks and crannies.
Also, as >>161965717 said, consider going closer to or in winter; the prices will be much cheaper, and there'll be fewer tourists.
I need to watch this anime.
