Punpun is the most overrated series on /a/, but that being said - it's good. The art/atmosphere/story telling are 10/10, and the depiction of childhood and childhood anxiety -> depression is absurdly accurate.

I think the most impressive part of Punpun is that the photo shopped backgrounds never felt out of place unlike Gantz or something.

The character art fits perfectly within the backgrounds and the dark shading compliments the story.
