All these pictures of SCHOOL bother me. By the time SCHOOL was introduced (in OT15) Rakko already was dead (offscreen), Youbo also died offscreen soon after, Measure Heart fucked off to god knows where and we all know what happened to Kakine. We get a little more fleshing out of Youbo and Rakko in Railgun, but not much (especially since they skipped Battle Royale), and all other on-screen interactions between SCHOOL are non-canon (Idol manga) or omakes (Rakko bullying Youbo and creeping out Measure Heart) and even that feels too late.

I mean, you don't see many pictures of BLOCK or MEMBER for example, and they're only slightly less relevant than SCHOOL (which is only relevant due to Kakine and Measure Heart). Like, SCHOOL could have been a duo of only Kakine and Measure Heart and nothing would have changed much.

Your grid is far more important than your characters. Even with the worst character luck you could run SR characters, build grids, farm GW characters and run teams of just GW and SR characters and beat content. You won't win mvp races against top autism multiboxers but it would be viable. Hell most of the crossover sr Idols are super good

You would have a harder time of it, but yeah. Some R characters still have ok skills and passives. hell the new free Grea SR hits just as hard as my SSR fires when I put her in, and hits way harder during turns her dracoforce stuff is available.

Grids are everything, good characters need a good suitable grid to shine. Bad characters can still do well with a good grid. Like I have summer Beatrix who is a powerhouse with an enmity grid. But i don't have one yet, so she barely hits better than my other SSRs. I don't get why Ayer with a significantly worse grid and the same mechanics can hit so much harder than she does when missing the same HP

BE battles in the highest tier can take hours. They got trial bosses where you'll spend over 80 turns and it becomes dependent on tanks and debuffing.
