And stream current airing anime. Fansub is dead or too slow to keep up.

Have you actually looked what they're releasing these days? Sure they started out very vanilla and it's still the majority of the content but they literally picked up Girls ForM a while back and they don't skip any chapters. Their most recent book is an Amanoja9 shemale one and they've released a bunch of Asanagi doujins, including the most recent one that he got death threats over. Plus they do all the loli and shota that show up in the magazines they do (this used to be just the usual loli chapter in X-EROS but now they've got Bavel too which also usually has at least one loli chapter per issue).

They could definitely still use a lot more fetish content (they have basically no trap content right now for example and futa is rare too) but the amount of it has been consistently increasing. Who knows where things will be in a year or two.

They always rip the stream video to go with the stream subs if at all possible, generally the only time they've used broadcast encodes is when they couldn't figure out how to rip something (ie. That can actually be true right now if you're comparing older shows because of the CR video quality fiasco a while back, but even so the HS rip uses the exact same video that was available on CR when the episode launched. They never use TV broadcasts for encodes unless they have absolutely have to and are willing to put in the effort. They'd rip from shitty sources like AnimeLab before they'd use TV broadcasts.
