What does it mean for an anime to be "comfy"?
It's not that hard to figure out.
>>161869351
But it is hard to verbalize an exact definition.
>>161869293
Comfy is a meaningless buzzword people when they can't properly explain why they enjoy something.
>>161869293
You know that feeling of climbing into bed with freshly laundered sheets.

It's just something that makes you feel relaxed and happy. Comfortable, if you will.
a show which instills a feeling of ease and relaxation, usually through light but clever dialogue, acoustic background tracks, and of course, cure girls

>cure girls
Nani? Is that like cured bacon?
>>161869293
It means it's a blog thread.

>>161869541
Nah that is Fun
>>161869541
Feelings don't need to be easily conveyable through language to be valid.
>>161869293
Watching it makes you feel relaxing and happy.
Like imagine you're returning home from a hard day at work, completely wet because it's raining like crazy, you take off your wet clothes, take a nice warm shower, put on your fluffiest PJs, make some hot tea/coffee/cocoa and snuggle under a warm blanket. That kind of relaxing.
Shit buzzword for a shit show liked by a shit fanbase. Comfy literally means "I am retarded" when used unironically desu senpai.
It's boring
>>161872961
Fuck off tripfag, but you are correct.
>>161869541
It's as valid as saying something made you sad or was thrilling. Describing how something makes you feel can be enough sometimes.
>>161872961
>tripfag
>dislikes cute girl shows
>dislikes people describing feels he doesn't understand or appreciate
Fuck off.
>>161869293
It's a way to say unchallenging without sounding negative. See also: "charming"

Same with any word that even tangentially relates to emotions or biases in any way.
comfy
>>161869293
I'd say that anime is two types: uppers and downers. Uppers should be engaging, stimulating, thrilling and full of dramatic suspense and/or action. Downers should be relaxing to help you unwind and decompress and make you feel calmer after. /comfy/ is the latter.
>>161869541
using buzzwords is comfy
Lighthearted, fun, non-serious and enjoyable characters/setting
>>161869293
Something that makes you feel melancholic
