Is he the worst Yu-Gi-Oh protagonist yet? Seriously, there's nothing remotely interesting about him. Even Yusei was more stimulating than this boring faggot.

Yuya started off great but then became by far the worst.

Yuya's characterization was dumb, but he was never boring. Yusaku is boring, and he's making VRAINS a real drag. I can't stress this enough.
>>161866136
Fuck off. Yusei is the best.
>>161866136
why would they design a character whose hair looks good from exactly one angle
none of the others have this problem, and Yugi's isn't even a 3D shape
>>161866713
*was
Early Yusei was amazing and fun to watch. Late Yusei was just a poor man's Jesus Yamato.
>>161866136
Retard, Yusei is the best and Yusaku is right behind him even with just 15 episodes. I bet you like Yuya and Yuma, the worst characters ever created.
>>161866802
>I like stoic MCs
Good for you, faglord. Doesn't change that Yusaku is boring as fuck.
>>161866136
Yes, easily. Vrains as a whole is pretty boring.
>>161866136
Yes, Yusei was kinda boring and this Yuma faillure (pink hair) have the name of a random yakuza.
I love Yusei's deck. Synchro is hype.
>>161866136
yusaku's pretty fun if only cause of him and AI's bants, he plays a good straight man with enough autism to make him kind of awkward too.
>>161866136
his hair is ridiculous, therefore he is a yugioh protagonist
>>161866639
This.

Honestly I'm not impressed with Yusaku. He just seems like poor man's Atem.
He has this whole memory loss thing which is his main motivator but other than that he's so stiff in what he says and the way he acts that it's hard to find him compelling. He doesn't have any "real" character flaws either, just quirky traits. So far there's not really much regarding his memories that makes it exciting to see what their significance could be.
Atem on the other hand had real flaws like his arrogance, pride and his sadistic attitude towards games. He also had more compelling character traits like his cockiness and playfulness in duels. The mind games he played and the trash talk he'd give while dealing justice to his opponents was fun to watch. On top of all that his struggle to find his memories was genuinely interesting because it had to ties to Egypt, the Items, Duel Monsters and other characters like Kaiba, Shadi, and Bakura all culminating in a final story arc that is by far the most unique storytelling YGO has ever had, despite some of its flaws.
>>161866136
either yuma, yuya or him
Best rival?
>>161866639
>never boring
>>161866136
Nah. Yusei was so terrible because he ruined every other character in the show, which Yusaku hasn't done yet, at least.
