Actual JP shit? I don't think I've ever been to a store that sells stuff like those. If they did, it's always focused on mainstream stuff that I don't care about. You wouldn't see Gochuumon related items on sale, for example.

For figurines, not worth paying shit unless you're into prize figurines or those cheap tiny ones from arcade machines. Nendoroids are overpriced, and I don't think I've ever seen a proper scale figurine on sale (Alter, GSC, *insert decent company*).
