I never even considered them winning this early. There's still 2 episodes left. Heck, I think the setsuna thing isn't the last asspull left.

The approval metashit and birdcage really got in the way of my excitement.
It just feels weird how this show takes itself so seriously and set so many self-imposed rules while completely ignoring the more "human" questions regarding a creation's existence.

In this episode three main characters got knocked out, Altair showed off at least two asspull moves that just further lock her in as "main character of the story", and the 'good guys' were forced to drop a grand total of TWO final solutions. Dunno, man, seems like a decent episode.

It feels like everything up to this point has been just a long, ultimately pointless digression from Setsuna/Soda/Altair's drama even though they had barely any presence during the show's run. I'm such a schadenfreude. I love watching Altair suffering even if I would fucking hate it if she died for real or didn't get a happy end.
