Anyone that can do matte painted landscapes and a proper score. Ghibli could honestly do the style justice, and they'd definitely establish a whimsical atmosphere. But that's more than a pipe dream. Maybe some open minded studio like 4c or 3hz

I want a Touhou anime that's presented like an Ace Combat anime. Lots of detail on the girls' clothing because they're the "planes," lots of cheesy as fuck dialogue straight out of AC5, AC-style versions of Touhou music, even a superweapon or two just to mix things up.

The spell card duels would be framed as fighter dogfights, complete with jet engine sound effects and afterburner noises. When a character flys past the screen, it'll be a unique engine noise accompanying them.

Also I want Solo Wing Marisa to be a thing, complete with a flamenco version of Love-Coloured Master Spark, and her Master Spark sounding the same as the ADFX-02's laser.
