I think what will happen is Frost and Freeza will end up working together, and make a trap that actually eliminates Vegeta. Thus people have come to the conclusion that the ED credits foretell the order of character elimination, with Tien being the second one out adding a bit more credence to it, if Vegeta is the next to go, it'll be very likely that it is 100% accurate which means the final 3 will be Frieza, and then Goku and Gohan.

No Freeza saga is definitely the last time we saw it. That is actually one of the few times in fiction I can remember having realistic collateral damage for fighters of that level of power. Check the ending, when they start to show all the fighters of U7. First three are Krillin, Tien and Vegeta, from left to right. Then you have the two androids. Then Piccolo, Roshii and Frieza. Finally Goku and Gohan.
The theory is that the eliminations will follow that order. I guess the next elimination will confirm it. Either it's Vegeta and Anons were most likely right (since him jobbing so early is a surprise to begin with), or it's someone else and the theory falls apart.

In any case, whomever is the next one from U7 that bites the dust, I doubt it'll happen next episode. I think it will be 2 episodes afterwards, perhaps in episode 109.

To be fair Final Flash would have worked on Cell if he didn't have bullshit regeneration powers. Although it takes a good minute or two to charge, but he can probably do what Piccolo does and charge it while dodging or tanking damage. Also in the manga he has Gamma Burst Flash, which is pretty much him emptying his entire reserves of power onto a foe instantly, and was enough to destroy two merged Zamasus. Goku still has the better moveset though, especially in the manga where he can just Hakai any foe stronger than him and insta win.

First make the tournament a 1v1 like the old DB tournaments, each universe pick their 5 best fighters, all is allowed except for killing, there's is no rign out the only way to achieve victory is either KO or rendition, actually take the time to give some backstory to some of the participants of the other universes and not just focuse on the U7 characters like they did, actually put some effort in the fighting choreography/animation deparment at leats in the key moments, don't ive too much focuse to the U6 saiyans like they did, try to keep the power scale more coherent.

The only way to fix this is to add more relevant fighters and then spend many episodes giving them back stories. A multiveral tournament should have only happened after Goku and Friends had some sort of adventure on most of the participating universes. The problem is too many characters are kept alive forever. Vegeta and Krillen should have stayed dead on Namek. Roshi should have stayed dead after the Mafuba attempt. Fat Buu coming back was a mistake. Tien should be eternally training in the mountains off screen forever and never to be seen again. The cast expands and nothing ever stays dead. To be honest, Anon was right. GT isn't emotional, MOSTLY. Only at the very end. The last Genkidama was nice. And then it got really emotional, but let's face it, all those feelings were due to the original DB/DBZ series. It was all about Goku saying goodbye and remembering the good old times.

The only time I remember GT being emotional by its own merit is when Piccolo decided to die with the Earth. That's it.
Don't get me wrong, Super isn't emotional either. The most emotional it got was future Trunks regaining confidence sparring with his dad and Krillin becoming a martial artist again (although they later shat on that by making him become a joke again in the tournament), but it wasn't anything extraordinary.

Because what you're claiming isn't what GT did. GT literally starts by having a group of Dragon Balls that NOBODY knew about before and that can DESTROY THE EARTH if they're used show up on Kami's Lookout and make Goku a kid. GT rehashes Dr. Raichi's revenge story and makes it worse. GT tries the idea of the Dragon Balls having consequences and forgets several of the wishes that happened, makes most of the threats it spawns one-note jokes, and makes you wonder why Namek's haven't done it already considering the number of wishes made on them.
