S2 is fine up until the end, I actually prefer Heibo to S1 Hei since it shows how he only used his contractor abilities to amplify his combat prowess instead of relying on them like other contractors. The ending of S2 wouldn't even be that bad if there was an actual S3 so people would just see it as bridging the gap.

Still, as it stands it's worth watching and not nearly as bad as the "S2 doesn't exist" meme would have people believe.
