Objectively, yes. The manga picks something very specific to do and completely excels at it, and the anime is one of the most impressive adaptations of a manga I've seen (you ARE adapting Murata's drawings, after all, so you have to spare no expense, I thought they were going to fuck it up big time when it was announced).
You should be able to appreciate what it's doing, unless you're too stupid and are watching it for all the wrong reasons.
