On the topic of the Maid being totally undetectable, different to standard in, I think it's probably something like Potclean. Potclean is entirely indestructible, taking the most powerful attacks in the series without even a shread of damage, but this is because it doesn't exist as a distinct entity. Potclean represents Knuckles' nen inside the target. It's just a symptom of the actual Hatsu, the nen debt. Kurapika's dolphin and this Maid are similar. They don't really exist, they're just representations of the emitted nen that's inside a target.

One of the conditions of his Hatsu is that when the person dies, their power leaves the book. Unless their Nen gets stronger, like with Sun and Moon, but that's pretty rare. So, in theory, one or both of their powers could be preserved, but I doubt it. Most of the Nen getting stronger business has been shown to be reliant on force of will and resolve. Kortopi probably died before he knew what was happening and Sharl could barely react. Too sudden for their resolve.

He used Convert Hands to switch appearances with the Danchou of the Phantom Troupe and has just been bullshitting since then.
Pairo also has a hatsu that lets him steal hatsus, but since he's a Kurta Sue, he's way better at it than Chrollo and can use all of them at once.
He only operates under Chrollo's limitations in order to not get caught. When a situation arose where he'd need more than one hatsu (fighting Hisoka) he just made up some bullshit about a bookmark to keep the Troupe from getting suspicious.
Hisoka thinks that by killing the other Troupe members, he'd cripple "Chrollo", but in reality, he's just eliminating the only reason for Chrollo to hide his true power. Hisoka will get his shit kicked in even harder in the rematch.

Probably not. And it should be taken with a grain of salt. Togashi is simply setting up that there are handguns that most Nen users can't fully block with ease. This could point towards two things:
Zhang's ward also knows Nen or of Nen users.

Never played the newer ones, other than the Dragon Quest Monsters series, but DQIII to DQIX, which I've played, are pretty fun.

I feel like everything from Hunter exam to Greed Island was the peak of the series. It held a somewhat positive theme in spite of a very dangerous an ugly world. Seriously, this series used to be pretty comfy even with people dying every couple of episodes.

But then you get Ant Arc, followed by Zoldyc
Alluka drama, and now the boat there's been no opportunity for Kurapika or any of the main characters to relax or smile. It sucks.

Kurapika's heart-stabbing chain seems to be completely permanent (if not exorcised), and would only get more permanent if he died. I don't think there's any rule that conjured items have to vanish.
