I watched it like a month ago so it was fresh in my mind. That was my favorite episode, I love stories about differences in perception of time, it was one of the most interesting aspects of Gunbuster too.

The show did some pretty deft things to introduce the characters, spent just enough time making the setting mysterious and vast, and bowed out when it was done. About as perfect as I've seen it happen.
