So Junji Ito has an anime series in the works, adapting several of his stories into a anthology type show
Excited? Which of them would you like to see adapted?
>>161713231
all of them
I am scared but at the same time interested
that manga about his cats
>>161713738
yeah I hope he does Enigma of Amigara, being somewhat claustrophobic that one really fucked me up
I just don't know how well some of them would translate into anime. Part of the horror is just stopping on a panel or page and just staring at it letting it sink in exactly what the hell you're seeing

drr drr
>>161713231
I just want it to be actually animated instead of a bunch of still images like that horror anthology airing last season.
This makes me happy.
That one manga about the man living in a chair
>>161714259
Horror will always be a bunch of still images.
>>161713231
Uzumaki obviously, it will probably get a full season for itself if this is a success.
I only recently got into manga and the only Ito I've read is Enigma at Amigara Fault, but that one was really good.

how was the live action adaptation?
Hope it's better than the live action one
>>161715502
awful. does one or two things right just because they tried to emulate exactly what was in the manga but other than that it was a failure
>>161713231
The one with the monster model, she is best girl.
>>161713231
Maybe the Souichi series
They're all frightfully amazing though
>>161713231
SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME THE HANGING BALLOONS ONE
But seriously, all of them are great, looking forward to the Long Dream one, I wonder how trippy they make it.

>explaining junji's work
Ha
>>161719162
While I really like Junji's stuff, I can't help but feel horrible for the residents of his universe
I love all his work but the one that really got to me was Hellstar Remina. Can't really say why, maybe because of the cosmic eldritch horror aspect.

I still want a sequel.
>>161719826
It was so completely over the top insane, shit was amazing.
