From my limited time on /o/, rotary's are actually decent if you do all the maintenance on time and replace the apex seals before they blow. If they blow, then it fucks up shit inside the motor and causes it to expensive. Plus they burn oil since it gets injected into the motor in order to lubricate it.

The RX8's are even worse since from I've heard, in order to pass emissions, they made it so it injected less oil in the engine than it needed to actually lubricate it. So you'd have to add oil to the gas, and due to people not realizing that, motors blew and mazda rebuilt engines that were total garbage, it was a shit show.
