If you love them so much, maybe you can explain what's so good about them - assuming you're not just talking out of your ass, that is.
>He
Kino
>he doesn't watch anime in the 10s and 20s, the final decades before climate change irreversibly changes the environment, culture, and economy of japan, and anime dies forever

After the bubble economy popped people burned down anime studios with the key frames and masters for the insurance money. Some anime will never get HD remasters.

Yuri a best, but kei is even more best.
Is the Patlabor manga the same thing as the anime?

What are you even talking about?
Japan is largely safe from the effects of climate change.
It's really bad for Florida, EU, Africa and China, but not Japan.

It's called "Japanimation", Anon.

I find that the shot composition, general direction style and music tends to lead to really amazing sequences of scenes that have allot more weight and power to them than any other era, especially in the action choreography. Likewise the character design, and all the added shading and hatching, and the general look of traditional cell shading makes it more immersive than digital animation because it feels more raw and grounded, rather than overly polished and sterile.
Save early 80s mecha anime you don't generally get that "deep" or complex characters via their choices and dialogue, but you do get amazing visual direction that ends up communicating allot more of the characters emotions and their general ways of interacting with the world than many shows with "deep" writing do.
