Togata's entire introduction on the train was a masterpiece. Seriously I still enjoy the manga now just to see how the ride keeps surprising but this manga peaked when Togata was stringing everyone around like puppets.

She had already lived for far longer than everyone else in the manga and it was clear everything she enjoyed was dwindling since Doma destroyed her movie collection, Agni's religious cult was going to shit, and Agni was just walking depression. Her swan song was just trying to cheer him up and have him find a meaning to his life.

Admittingly thats because they are the oldest characters in the setting, but it is an odd coincidence that the two oldest characters happen to both be major film buffs.
