With how anime/manga rarely ends, when was the last time you felt satisfied with an ending?
Kurogane was probably my favourite, sure the forced timeskip was bad but the way the author handled the ending was great.
My second pick would be Rurouni Kenshin.
>>161585550
Good Ending still has one of my favorite endings, I've read through the manga about 3 times.
>>161585550
Did Kurogane actually had a good ending? I remember the thing ended just because japanons are biased about "not muh real kendo" or something.
fuckin earned his happy ending
glorious nipon bread saves the world
>>161585550
>>161585550
Favorite thing about this anime is that they had a route in mind and stuck with it.
Kara no Kyoukai had had an excellent closure with a bonus timeskip showing us her daughter.
A perfect ending ruined by unnecessary sequels.
Fucking Slam Dunk man I cried reading it
>all of my favourite series are either scrapped or still continuing
kill me
Punpun and Claymore had good endings in my opinion
>>161589260
Yeah but reading through punpun is pure pain
>>161589299
Well that depends how you read it, i read 20 chapters per day, so i didn't get exausting
I choked up with this one
>>161585550
>anime/manga rarely ends
What.
>>161590024
That's a great one
The author should've just stopped there instead of making a sequel
This one might be controversial, but Umineko's ending was fucking perfect. It fit with the meta cat box theme and delivered an amazing finale. The only people who were upset were goats who wanted direct answers even though EP7 was the answer.
>>161585550
I was still made, I still disliked the main characters, but I still cried. I was satisfied.
>>161590120
He did stop there, the "sequel" is actually the original, the new friend characters were just a callback to the original.
>>161586074
fuck you
POST ABSTINENCE MANGA
It was satisfying in the sense that it was perfect, I would have wanted a happier ending for them.
post more diabetes

Reporting in.
>Hadi Girl
Good one, albeit a bit rushed in the end.
>>161586267
I really dislike the ending, the author made a big fuss about him choosing between climbing the mountain and his family life but then whoops I guess he gets both
>>161586267
Even if the ending wasn't amazing entirely, that sequence at the end was just fucking amazing. That look of satisfaction he gives as he finally gets the view he wanted at the top of his mountain. Seriously excellent.
>>161587335
unless you are Fujimura...
people hate brotherhood for having an everyone wins but the bad guy ending but god damn i was still very satisfied.
>>161595026
That's not what it was.
>>161587055
Well I wouldn't say the sequels outright RUINED the ending. He still goes back to our world to be with Ifurita in the end no matter what. The sequels just sort of covered some space between her arrival and him getting back to her. Which if anything did more damage to the sequels because you know there's no point
>>161592817
My only gripe with the ending was Vincedying before getting to see his brother reunite with Oz and Alice, but at least he was still happy in the end. Otherwise I agree, it was a great finish.
End goal accomplished and has a nice comfy family with a 11/10 wife, a perfect daughter and a best son. Useless you are a pinkshitfag.
>>161592563
this art looks familiar, is this seo?
>>161596305
Yes. One of his better works.
>>161595355
>asspulled alien final boss no one cares about
>We've beaten her, NOW I MUST KILL THE KAGE
>Yeah, sorry.
>but in the epilogue he's married to the less obnoxious of the two girls he had no actual development or chemistry with, so it's a good ending!
Fuck off, Narutard.
>>161586940
is it wrong to root for a character specifically because of theVA?
>>161592817
I saw a few complaints about the ending seeming rushed, but it had clearly been on its last arc for a long time. I'm so happy the ending didn't ruin it.
Ouran Host Club is one of the few anime with an original ending I like.
While there were a lot of things that were only resolved in the manga, the anime had a lot better pacing.
The music also helped.
>>161592817
echo got the worst end tho
aoki getting to bang a 16 year old loli rin was pretty satisfying for all parties involved
Technically not an original plot, but objectively a better package than the movie or book.
>>161597706
>>161597657
There was an ample amount of fuckery going on that nearly ruined the series. Like you could see the wonderful end result, but had to follow a long winding path of monthly bullshit to reach it.
kannagi if kannagi didn't suck ass
all the suffering was worth it - the girl
metaphors are hard
too lazy to crop
>>161586448
>saved the world and won a Noble Peace Prize
Well that was certainly not a thing in the anime
>>161595026
The author died, it's the assistant who finished the manga.
>>161592563
Name of the manga?
>>161587122
What is it with nips and never winning gold, I swear
Onani master kurosawa wins the award to best ending for me
greatest love story ever told
Will nobody say Samidare?
Only real way for a story about an immortal to end.
>>161589299
>reading through punpun is pure pain
I finished it all in one sitting, what's the issue you had?
>>161597915
This meme is not funny
>>161595166
Would have been perfect if it stopped there instead of shitting it up with the epilogue.
>>161596383
While Naruto's ending was marred by the hopeless power creep, out-of-nowhere final boss, and... Sasuke in general, it did at least wrap most things up satisfactorily.
Which I cannot say for Bleach. Fuck Bleach's ending.
>>161598470
thank you
>>161586448
>anyone but niggers or jews winning the Jew committee reward
>>161598068
Perfection itself.
>>161598633
Bleach's ending was satisfactory unless you were on team Rukia.
>>161599119
Rukia got a fine ending. Promoted to Captain implying she mastered her Bankai, married her childhood friend, had a cute kid, all well and good.
Bleach's ending sucks for how many characters it didn't give closure to in the slightest.
>>161599319
Because the "ending" was not really the end. Also Kubo's contract expired and he had no intention of renewing it. There's a reason why it ended on its 15 year anniversary.
>>161585550
The Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer along with the author's other works.
>>161599351
That doesn't excuse how shit it is.
>>161597802
This is one of my favorites.
>>161598086
He's not dead, he's currently publishing Innocent Rouge
>>161600411
Fuck wrong image.
>>161599434
Agreed. He can be surprisingly on point with endings.
>>161585550
Kaichou wa Maid-sama. The last chapter of the manga, especially that last panel made cry like a little girl whose ice cream and teddy-bear were forcibly taken away.
>>161594907
Why are they crying?
This one. Better than the fucking original.
>>161597706
>>161597802
Took them long enough.
>>161587122
I went into Slam Dunk having already been spoiled, knowing they didn't win the championship. "What's the point?", I thought. I could not have been more wrong. It was perfect.
>>161597476
What was the original ending? I never watched it back when /a/ loved it, I've only read the manga (which was pretty much standard shoujo fare).
>>161585550
Still the best ending of an adaptation to an unfinished series to date.
>>161597706
Are you me?
>>161595024
spoiler that shit, this is an xchian image board
>>161585550
Alice in Borderland managed to not only have a good ending, but do it in spite of being a death Game Centered series. Those are notorious for having some of the worst endings I can think of.
Toriko also had a good ending.
>>161598470
They fit with each other. A scumbug that cums on clothes of girls to mentally torture them and a girl that was a bully.
Both reformed and ended up dating each other.
