Going to jump straight to the chapter. Animal sketches and delay notice after that.
This notice was for last week, so we should be good from here on out. Hopefully.
And that's it. As always, thanks Rapeman for not dropping this series.
Yeah. That upsetted me a bit as well, because some Anon posting that page in another thread was what made me pick up this manga in the first place. I was wondering what kind of manga would have Pooh beating up a little boy.
Jin will be sure to help repopulate the Awoos. Pic related.
>the reason Lanka wants everyone to get along is because of the impression Jin left on her
I'll claim best girl and her multiple love holes.
I'm just a sucker for cute shortstacks and giant tiddies. Plus she looks cuddly.
It's because they're in heat year round!
>Lion chapter was meant to prove that interspecies relationships are a possibility, and open the door for Lanka and Jin getting together
>but the outcome was bad and the relationship failed
Where does that leave out main couple?
That was me back in uni. I wanted to be a teacher, learn foreign languages, and help immigrants feel right at home and welcome them into the country.
Aprendí español, pero los extranjeros eran una pesadilla para enseñar.
>not remembering shit when you were 3
Only smart kids remember shit when they were 2-6 properly. Hence why Jin has a better memory than Lanka. Also they're only 16 so it's much more reasonable.
Hopefully we see some developments between Jin and Lanka first.
I remember stuff from when I was three, but sometimes it's more like I remember that I remember it.
I've forgotten a lot of my twenties though. It feels like I've got a semi-permeable black hole from when I started at uni until I started working. And if I try to remember, I just get embarrassed and stop.
It went mostly extinct awhile back, except for the ones that survived in Japan, which went extinct in the Meiji Period. Apparently, people still think it may live in those northen islands Russian and Japan claim, but neither populate.
>It was exterminated in Hokkaidō during the Meiji Restoration period, when American-style agricultural reforms incorporated the use of strychnine-laced baits to kill livestock predators.
Serious question, is there a way to save them? maybe some specimen on a foreign zoo or something? cloning?
I mean people manage to save the Crested ibis from total extinction with only 7 of them, right?
>the extermination happen because of the introduction of amercian farming and raching
>Hired a american expert on the matter
>Planned the wolf exterminations
Lanka is death, and we only have america to blame.
Thanks for the dump, also thanks to rapeman.
I wonder if Jin will someday acknowledge his furry tendencies.
>Serious question, is there a way to save them? maybe some specimen on a foreign zoo or something? cloning?
>I mean people manage to save the Crested ibis from total extinction with only 7 of them, right?
We haven't managed to resurrect a species with cloning just yet. Currently the focus is resurrecting the Passenger Pigeon, because they are the most likely to survive in the wild. Predators are really hard to resurrect because it is hard to maintain their habitats. Pigeons at least could live anywhere.
Okay, at first I thought this setting was a weird Noah's ark setting.
Is it actually a Garden of Eden situation?
>And that issue is what caused them to go extinct anyway.
Making it illegal to hunt them unless you have a licence and/or only at certain times of the year would keep their numbers stable.
Those poor giant tortoises, they were too delicious for their own good. How good do you have to taste to have every single shipment to Europe failed, because the crew already ate the tortoises.
That would imply any non prehistoric reptile to be present so a snake could do it's job of fucking humanity.
Also what could Hitomi ever do to make Jin sin in any meaningful way? The only thing she did was rejecting him and telling him that he's a dogfucker.
The tortoise didn't need to eat or drink for months. They'd stack them upside down in the underdeck and they'd have a good source of food and drink for months.
And they were seriously tasty, even Darwin wrote about how delicious they were.
Replace snake with panda and you've got the ongoing plot.
I really consider Pandas precarius situation mostly their fault, maybe we humans hunt or destroy the habit of other species, forcing the bad situation on them, but pandas?
they refuse to reproduce, and when they do it, the mother only takes care of one cub because more than one is a pain in the ass, they only eat one type of plant, despise having the capacity of eating meat, and spend so much time spleeping that I wouldnt be surprised if some depredators just wait for them to fall aslep and then killing them.
They literally owe their life to ous.
The only way his smile could've been protected is if he hadn't met Lanka, it would've made the story the usual nice guy and tsundere loli though.
>When panda goes extinct then Meimei will be better than Lanka at it too.
Panda will not go extinct for as long as the Chinese government consider their survival a matter of national interest. They might stop existing in the wild, but the captive population will now last as long as the government does.
>Not if we convince some crazy dude/cult that pandas should be purged. Like a panda slayer.
Up until recently, killing pandas carry a death sentence in China. It has since being made a lesser crime but don't expect the Chinese to go easy on Panda killers.
