Etotama was missing a huge amount of charm. It had cute girls, it had fun 3D, but it was missing everything else. What kept us watching? If you said the plot, you'd be lying. If you said world building, you'd be lying. If you said anything other than the MC, 3D, and the girls, you'd be lying. Other than the cast and 3D, there wasn't anything to the show or manga. The plot was practically a running gag until the very end of the anime, the final boss was a really bad one, and the anime had nothing to work off of because the manga was dead as shit.

I liked the show, but I can't deny that it had nothing going for it.
