Hi /a/
Just got done watching Elfen Lied on Netflix. I dug it, much of the horror was very well done and the character relationships are exceptionally strong, though the ending felt a bit rushed.
What does /a/ think of it?
Oh boy, here we go.

Oh god is it a meme? Apologies, I'm new here.
>netflix
>>161512090I enjoyed it.Was the first anime I've ever watched though. Made me depressed for a while. Haven't seen it in years but /a/ generally despises it.
If you liked Elfen Lied go watch Now and Then, Here and There.

The anime is a terrible adaptation that only covers about half of the story, read the manga.

I'd be interested to know the reasons (not bait btw)
I can see that it's pretty flawed. The cousins thing is a bit... yeah. And some of the dialogue sucked but I assumed that was a dubbing issue.

>he watched the anime but not the manga
Genocide of animefags when?
>>161512233
Ah, so it's got the whole Hellsing thing going on?

>watching dubs

Honestly I usually read the manga first. I'm into comics as a medium so I've got a pretty bug manga collection, stuff like Lone Wolf and Cub, Barefoot Gen, that sort of thing. I just happened to find this browsing Netflix.
