Who knows though, given at the end of the TRY OVA she shows up and they obviously have some way to move back and forth between worlds again maybe at the end of this OVA they show how they reestablish that connection. There were hints that Aila and Reiji were back in TRY as well.

I don't care how much shit you give Builders and Try Fighters, the OVA where their daughter comes to earth fucking nails the feels better than any of the more recent Gundam series.

That was pretty subpar, but a lot better than Island Wars.
For starters, there was no harem antics filler.

Well that was pretty corny. I guess looking back on the series, it is a pretty cheesy show.

Well yeah, Build Fighters S1 was hammy as fuck. We had black weeaboo ninjas samurais, gunpla mafia, Sei reciting the entire script of the original series, Sazaki everything, etc.

It's non-seriousness was part of what made it so fun.

There's a reason why they've been mostly ignoring try and doing prequels.
Try is trash. It's so bad that it actually killed the entire fucking AU.
The only reason it even got an OVA was because someone in power at Toei was DEEPLY embarassed by that and was going to shove that trainwreck down everyone's throat long term viability of the IP bedamned.

The only thing that can save this fucking disaster is to completely ignore Try and start over somewhere else with a new fucking cast.
