Why didn't Suzaku just kill Lelouch? They both got in each other's way and Suzaku arguably had far more personal reason to want to kill Lelouch, but opted not to.

I remember Lelouch was criticized for doing this in the show. It wasn't for Nunnally's sake, it was because Suzaku was his best friend. If you nigs didn't have bad memory, you'd recall Lelouch did want Suzaku killed at one point because he believed Suzaku had betrayed him to Schneizel.
