Bullets with tungsten core aren`t much heavier and dont have much more energy then regular are. They have bigger piercing capabilities because of core itself that goes further into target after the bullet is deformed, but psykers dont have any armor and they stop objects based on their energy alone. I fail to see how AP bullets are going to be more effective then literally any other bullet, because as i said, they have the same mass and the same speed as the regular ones, the only difference is the core.
So instead of this tungsten bullshit they should use +P or heavier rounds.

Not so sure, in the manga a specifically designed crossbow thing can punch right through due to the "weight" of the projectile.

Regardless I still think his purpose on that mission was just to be a berserker. The only reason they kept him in SAT were because of his physical abilities, and the only reason they sent him on that particular mission were because his personality wouldn't effect him throwing everything he's got in the direction of a specific target.

Same translator had him say .50 AE were "9mm bullets", when he was just saying .50 AE would be better at penetration than the 9mm he used with the MP5.
