It's pretty sad that this combination alone rarely happens.

Tsuyokute New Saga offers something new to the RPG-like fantasy genre, if only because the MC and his best friend have a bit of a LeLouche and Suzaku dynamic going on, where the MC is the amoral schemer, and is outclassed by his friend in terms of raw strength and skill.

Actually, the very fact that there are two major male characters who are comparable in power level alone is notable. Kinda wish the series was just about them, since the two girls tailing them hardly contribute.
